Dear Margaret Thank you for your comment. Can you advise how the search did not work for you? We do want our catalogue not only to look pretty but to be very user friendly for the visitor to our site. As the museum workers who are working with this new catalogue [editing and adding], we have found it very friendly so would be interested to know how to make it easier for you to look around from Janie Mason, Curator

A really lovely way in which to display your catalog. Perhaps it is because I am a guest, but the search functiionality seems less than satisfactory.

The Nortthern Territory Nursing Museum & Historical Photographs is on the Casuarina Campus of the Charles Darwin University, Darwin, Northern Territory of Australia. It started by accident with the transfer of pre-registration nursing education from hospital to the tertiary education in 1987. It holds historic nursing memorabilia and artefacts telling the local story of northern and central Australia which is significant for the national nursing story.

The Nursing Museum recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, people and culture as integral to our Australian history and heritage. Visitors to the Museum’s catalogue are warned there may be identification and images of deceased persons in photographs. There may be language [terms and phrases] reflecting the attitude of the author of the time when the item was written which are considered inappropriate today.
