Hi, I was wondering if the jonco football trading cards have any value, and what a rough price would be for a starting price? Do you sell them on your website? How does it work? Thanks

Hello Carol. Depending on condition these cards sell for between $10 and $50 each. A card in excellent condition could sell for more. Regards JohnD

Hello Phil In the current environment your best bet is obviously eBay. When we are free of the pandemic, I suggest that you go to one of the Australian Cartophilic Society's card fairs as our members do have cards from these sets in stock. The ACS website and facebook page will tell when the next fair is on. Regards JohnD

Hi, Iām looking for cigarette cards of Dick L Harris From 1911 (Carlton) (Ray sort) and 1913 (St Kilda) (Stars sort). Any chance you would know where to find them? Thanks, Phil
Hello Peter. You will find plenty of these cards at the Australian Cartophilic Society Cards fairs. However the cards are for sale by members/ dealers, not for swapping, as they are selling their excess stock. Card fair details are on the ACS website. Regards OJ.
Hello, My father passed away late last year and i have been having a look at his Kornies 1951 & 1952 collection. He has 40 cards all up for 1951 however only 22 players all up with 18 being duplicates / doubles. The 1952 collection there is only 8 cards. Is there an avenue to swap some of these extras? Thanks

Hello Steve. I'm missing that card so I'd be interested in buying it. Can you send me an image - [email protected] / 0418 552 629 Regards OJ
Hi OJ just me again. Well that didn't take long I googled the Fitzroy-Brisbane Lions Historical Society as you suggested and right there in one of the photos was the poster staring me in the face. It definitely doesn't have any signatures. So thanks so much for your help. Not sure what to do next I guess I will pop it back under the bed for now!!! Thanks again Sue.
Hello Sue. Yes it was a bad weekend for the Demons, a very disappointing performance. I did a bit of "googling" and found the Fitzroy - Brisbane Lions Historical Society. They have a website and a Facebook page. One of them should know the answer. Good luck! Let me know how you go. Regards OJ
Hi OJ. Thanks for the reply and effort you have gone to for me. The poster is framed and the back is brown paper so I can't really see the reverse side of it. We live in country Victoria in the same town as one of the players maybe I could ask him although he may not recall as I'm sure he would have signed thousands of items during his time at Fitzroy. I too am a Melbourne supporter and not a very happy one after Sunday's outcome!!! Cheers and thanks again. Sue.
Hello Sue. As a Melbourne supporter, I remember the game but not the poster. I have asked a couple of other collectors and they don't know of it either. Most of these posters had the signatures printed onto them. If they were individually signed by the players the poster may have "limited edition" or words like "copy 3 of 300" printed on it - maybe on the back of the poster? To get a more precise answer, perhaps you could take the poster to a collectables shop in your local area and have the signatures examined more closely. Regards OJ.
Hi, I'm wondering if you could assist me with a query. I recently acquired a framed souvenir football poster of the Fitzroy football club. This piece of memorabilia was produced in 1979 after Fitzroy defeated Melbourne creating a new VFL record for the highest score in history. I'm presuming there would have been a lot of the posters circulating at this time. It has a photo of every player and the coach along with the scoreboard. The poster I have also has every players signature. I can't seem to find the same poster anywhere online what I'm wondering are the signatures printed or individually signed. They look to authentic to be a print. If you could clarify this for me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Sue.

Hello Gary. The only Laurie Mithen footy card that I know of is in the 1959 Kornies "Scoreboard" series. There is an image of it in the Kornies folder. I don't think there are any footy cards that feature Wally Lock. Regards OJ
Looking for football cards of Wally Lock and Laurie Mithen. Thanks.

Hello Justin The price depends on the condition of the card. A card in fair condition, like mine, would sell (retail) for about $5 -$10. Cards in very good to excellent condition can sell for about $50, maybe a bit more for a famous player like Dick Lee. Remember this is a retail price. Regards OJ
I have this card and J sharp. What sort of price are we looking at for these. I've found it really hard to locate any of these on the web. Many thanks. JM

Hi June. You have an old card, but it is not a rare card and most collectors of cards from this era would probably have it in their collection. However Collingwood FC cards are popular so there might be someone out there who is after it. It's value depends on its condition - bends, marks, scratches or rounded corners will diminish its value.

Hello James. In VG/Ex condition you see Series B cards for sale for $60-80. The challenge for the seller, is finding a buyer that wants to spend this much on one of these cards.
