F.& R. Pratt - masters of multi coloured transfer printing on pottery from 1847
Description
These were designed to hold tea. Tea was very expensive in the early Victorian era. This Caddy I believe would have been an early version as it was printed in just blue. As the Pratt "s experimented with the transfer printing process they managed to eventually issue these Tea Caddy's in multi colours.
