This plate was produced by the Pratt factory prior to them mastering the art of transfer printing using multi-colours prior to 1847. Felix Edwards Pratt with this plate used kaolin mixed with the other materials to create this plate which he name Kaolin Ware. It was not such a great material to fire as in many pieces he produced in the early experimental days the blues bleed into the pottery. The design on this plate is called " Water Lily " and is the same picture as the previous plate displayed the only difference is the shape.
